Landscape Diversity Enhances Climate Change Resilience: A Review

The review aimed at understanding landscape diversity in the face of global population pressure, agricultural land shortages, food insecurity, and climate insecurity. We used published literature to determine whether improves resilience change. Literature searches were performed using Science Direct database, Google Scholar search engine, professional network ResearchGate keywords. Land degradation, soil resilience, natural resources from 2000 2019. 120 publications searched, including journal articles, reports, book chapters. Of these, 68 considered more relevant all read writing this review. Climate change, degradation have been established be major challenges for developing countries leading loss genetic diversity. Our results show that proper habitat may allow fast-growing invaders occupy remaining limited resources. Therefore, alien species accelerate invasion under human-induced land-use changes during times time lag between range expansion has thwarted. A golden window prevent spread habitat.
